Sell a lifestyle

When you're selling your home, show-off everything - sell a lifestyle.  Ensure the Estate Agent's photographs include everything that drew you to the house in the first place. In the house below, opening the patio doors wide shows how inviting the patio space is, and everyone imagines the BBQ's and parties they can have there.  It was actually raining most of the day I was finishing this house, but we just had a moment of sun, so I whipped the camera out quick!!

Don't forget the outdoor spaces

When you're selling a house, the outdoor space is equally as important as the indoor.  Just finish it all off nicely.  This home was staged last week, and even though it was a fairly wet day, we arranged the new pots and positioned the table, and I kept my eye on the weather, and the moment the sun appeared, I put the cushions out and took the photos quick!!

An amazing transformation... from messy rented house into a calm space to buy

This shows a great transformation, from a house being rented out, to one that's been prepared for sale. It shows why trying to sell a house whilst it is still being rented out is not a good idea!!

Occasionally I DO suggest spending money on the garden...

I don't usually encourage homeowners to spend a great deal of money on garden alterations when preparing to sell a house, but this one was really worth it - especially when the sun came out too!

Oh, I really want to stage this property..

 Going to chat to an "old"client this week about working on a second property for her - staging this potentially gorgeous grade II listed building for sale.  Really, really want to get my hands on this one!!

SOLD! After 6 days on the market!

               "Duck House" has sold! A fraction under the asking price, within six days.  We're all delighted.  It was marketed as "Excellently presented" and had lots of interest from other buyers too.
